The Chamonix is a modern camera made of a combination of traditional wood and carbon fiber. The WW-A is the newest version of Chamonix Production. It is an extremely advanced, light, rigid and highly versatile camera.Includes:
• Chamonix WW-A 8X10 camera (teak finish)
• Fuji CM-W EBC 300mm F5.6 lens
• One 8X10 film holder, with new darkslides and hinge tape (used, modern, tested light-tight)
Camera Features:
• Massive bellows draw
• Capable of massive movements
• Separate rise/tilt locks
• Front movements include swing, shift, rise/fall and tilt (limited by bellows only)
• Rear movements include tilt and swing
• Camera uses common, easy-to-find, Sinar-style lens boards
• Interchangeable bellows
• Bail back lever, for easy loading/unloading of film holders
• Back can easily be set up for vertical or horizontal position
Camera Condition:
• This camera is used, tested and working as it should
• Cosmetically, this camera shows normal sings of use (some bumps and scrapes)
• Bellows are in good shape and tested light-tight
• All camera movements, knobs, gears and latches are in good working condition
• Graflock/spring back is tight and works perfectly
• KB Canham precision ground glass shows some marks on the matte side (will not affect use)
Fuji CM-W EBC 300mm F5.6:
• Top-of-the-line LF lens, one of the most advanced to ever be produced
• Offers massive coverage and extreme sharpness
• APO corrected and includes ED-ULD glass elements
• 300mm is a normal-angle of view lens on 8X10 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens on 35mm cameras)
• Clean, modern, multi-coated glass
• No fungus, haze, scratches or other major issues to note
• Shutter is in good working condition (with one exception) and fires nicely on all speeds
• The cocking lever return spring is not working, and the lever needs to be manually returned to its resting place (does not impact use in any way)
• No caps included
