The Tachihara is a modern, wooden camera, made in Japan. It is made from 400-year-old, kiln-dried, Japanese cherry wood and finished with a super gloss protective layer. This is Tachihara's latest and most advanced version. It incorporates many improvements, including easy-grip knobs, teflon washers, self-zeroing struts, a fresnel lens and more.
This camera appears to have never been used, or used very lightly.

Camera Features:
- Front movements include swing, rise/fall and yaw free/axis tilts
- Rear movements include tilt, swing and geared focus/retro movement
- Both front and rear standards have retro movement, to easily accommodate very short focal lengths
- Camera uses common, easy-to-find, Technika-style lens boards
- Back can easily be mounted in vertical or horizontal position
Camera Condition:
This is a very lightly used (if at all), good working condition, latest model Tachihara 4X5 camera.
Cosmetically, this camera is in pristine condition, with all its original factory finish intact and shiny.
Bellows is tested light-tight and in good working condition.
All camera movements, knobs, gears and latches are in good working condition.
Spring back is tight and works perfectly.
Original Tachihara fresnel lens and girdded protective panel are clean and very bright.
Rodenstock Apo Sironar N MC 150mm F5.6:
- 150mm is a normal-angle of view lens on 4X5 cameras (similar to a 50mm lens on 35mm cameras)
