This is a rare, extremely sharp lens. It was originally a process lens, which has been factory fitted in an Alphax shutter.
Excellent close up characteristics, but also a wonderful portrait lens on 8X10 or 11X14.
Lens glass is "lumenized" or Wolli-coated. However, as with most lumenized coatings, it did not survive through age very well, and has deteriorated in some areas on the front and rear of the glass. This has no impact on shooting or image quality, despite its appearance on the lens. Otherwise, glass is generally clean with no other major issues to report.
Shutter fires nicely on all speeds.
